I just couldn't get the product to work, even after I replaced my DVR to make sure it's a model that is tested by WD and paid for a replacement delivery of a new HD from WD. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This drive failed after 18 months. This is all too common these days with hard drives.
If you are using it with a TiVo when it fails, you will almost certainly lose every recording you have.

Easy to hook up and use, but failed after about 4 months. Tivo kept re-booting or freezing up requiring manual boot of Tivo.
