Good drive so far - no problems. I have used it to transfer data between several different computers without problems. The power and data on one USB cable is great! Especially for older computers with all the USB ports one the back in a tangle of other cables. Simple and nice.

comes in Fat32 format which is fine except if you want to keep files larger than 4GB on it. I reformated it to ntfs which is easly done and quick to do. In ntfs format you can have files larger than 4GB incase you wanted to transport large media files or DVD iso files it good to go.

i used one for backing up (fortunately) my music. within a couple months did not work what so ever. if i would have used it for my main storage i would have lost over 23,000 songs. plug it in and all it does it click.
i have a seagate freeagent XTreme that i back up to as well. i have had no problems with the seagate.
