Excellent back up for new iMac. Easy to set up and worked right out of the box. Handy cables included. Have used this product for 4 months with the new 'Time Machine' and it has worked wonderfully. Firewire 800 makes for quick transfer of data. Only drawback it the .2 TB of spaced used on formatting and not available for data storage.

This a great product. Had bought it for a project in India. It stopped working within couple of days of my arrival in India. Been trying for over a month to get a replacement. Was primarily doing video editing on Mac Book pro with Final Cut Pro, worked fine for a couple of days. Would not recommend it for travels outside of U.S ( especially India, pathetic customer support)

It worked nicely as advertised. We plugged it in to our iMac using the Firewire connector, and it was up and running without any difficulty.

Good product for a good price. Works great with Mac for general file saving and backups. It is a little bulky though.
